My name is Christine LaFaille, and in 2003 I opened ABC READING CENTER in Lafayette, California. As a teacher and a mother, I know how hard it is for children who are not performing at grade level in reading and writing. My center provides a positive and caring program that helps my students improve and gain confidence in all of their skills. I also know how hard it is for parents to watch their children struggle. I believe in building good relationships with all of the families I work with, with their schools, and with the community.
I am a Credentialed Teacher and Reading Specialist and received my degrees from St. Mary's College in Moraga. I have over 25 years of teaching experience and have taught and tutored children in many East Bay schools from Alameda to San Ramon. My center has helped many students in this area grow to their full potential. I see students from Preschool through 5th grade. I have excellent referrals if you need experienced teachers for middle and high school students.
After an initial visit, an individual program is developed to focus on each child's needs.
Sessions are either weekly or bi-weekly and always One-On-One. Parent communication is both welcomed and encouraged.
